Nine in ten studios have been asked by a family for an inclusive class. Hosting a Dance Without Limits term is how a studio says yes without carrying the training, equipment and funding alone.
The ask
One hour of accessible studio time a week, for a sixteen-week term. That is the whole ask. The instructor, curriculum, equipment and administration are funded by the program.
What your hour is worth
The program budget carries $600 a term for studio time where none is donated. When you donate the floor, that $600 stays in the program — extending the term, adding children, or seeding a second cohort somewhere else. A studio that hosts is funding a program as surely as a donor is.
What "accessible" means here
- Step-free entry to the floor, or a ramp; an accessible restroom on the same level.
- A floor that is not slippery when a chair or walker is on it, and space at the edge for equipment.
- Lighting that can be lowered and music that can be turned down — sensory load is a safety matter, not a preference.
- A quiet corner a child can step out to.

What we ask of host studios
- Carry your own liability coverage, as you do for every class on your floor.
- Agree to the child-protection policy for staff who will be present during program hours.
- Let the program list your studio as a host on the World Dance Foundation Studio Atlas — 1,280 studios in 69 countries — with an inclusive-teaching mark on your profile.
