Dance Without Limits is not a stand-alone charity. It is a program of the World Dance Foundation, which is why it can find need, place instructors and measure results at a scale a single studio never could.
The World Dance Foundation
The World Dance Foundation operates the global platform for competitive dance: a calendar of sanctioned competitions across seven federations, a results database with more than 900,000 placements for over 100,000 competitors, a Studio Atlas of 1,280 studios in 69 countries, a judge directory, and a free Dance Passport profile for every dancer. It funds scholarships for young competitors, and it runs Dance Without Limits.
The Foundation is the operating name of World Dancing Inc., a Delaware nonprofit corporation recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) (EIN 33-2738731), and holds a Candid Platinum transparency seal.
Why a separate front door
The families, schools, disability organisations and funders this program serves do not search for "DanceSport". They search for adaptive dance, inclusive classes, and a place a child can move. This site is that front door. Every studio, instructor, donation and record behind it lives on the World Dance Foundation platform.
Where the program stands
Dance Without Limits launches in the United States and scales internationally through the Foundation's network. The first funded terms are being matched with instructors and host studios now; the annual report will publish aggregate enrolment, attendance and completion.
